Sheza Blaznhaat Xpres, 18 months

Sheza is 18 months old  this Sunday. Time has flown and she has GROWN! She is very curious, friendly, and always wants to come out and play now. Our guests were shooting hoops early this morning and she was sending out the major "Pick me!" vibes so I haltered her and brought her up to check things out. She enjoyed Walkabout as there was lots to eat--SuperTurkey food, grass, hay, Pomegranates--and lots to spook at.
first, a sampling of rock moss
Next, the Horse Eating chair may in fact be Eaten by a Horse
Checking out "her" trailer, she made sure to clean the hay scraps off the floor
 On to harvesting Pomegranates.
Success! D'Oh! Dropped it
:-)

  1. Such a pretty girl! She is going to be so well-socialized and adapted by the time you start riding her.

  2. WOW! I can't believe she is only 18 months old! How big is she now? If it is true that horses grow until they are 5-7 years old you might have a giant horse on your hands in a few years! : )

    1. She is about 14.2, wears a 60" blanket :P Mom is 14.3, dad is 15 at the high withers..but grandpa is 16 hands, so we'll see!! I'm really hoping she doesn't go bigger than 15 hands, I can dream right?

  3. Beautiful little filly! I agree with Ashley - she's going to be so well socialized! And if she's so eager to be out and about with you now, she'll probably be psyched to receive her big girl job in a few years!

    1. Thank you :) I do agree, I think she'll love having a job in a few years-- just like her mother, who will leave food to come be haltered and get out on the trail!
